New year, new BL manhwa seasons! That’s right, several BL comics are back for a new season and it’s totally going to be hyped!
Please note that the list I’m about to present is based on the official English translations available on legal reading platforms. I’m not including the original Korean publication. For example, Passion is back with a new season, but Tappytoon has yet to update us with the official English translation of that season.
So, let’s get into it.
“Regas” is now back for season 2, and it’s already such a riot! Abel and the gang are so hilarious and if the raws are any indicator, season 2 is going to be hilarious and filled with so much fun. Their expressions are always so funny and clearly we’re all psyched for the moment we’ve all been waiting for… And it’s happening this season!
It’s available on the major platforms: Lezhin, Tappytoon, Tapas, Manta, and Pocketcomics. This is such a joy because you get to choose which app you find it convenient to purchase on. I personally like Tappytoon since you can watch ads to gain points which you could use to purchase episodes.
“Civilian A” is back with a third season on Tappytoon. It’s a guideverse series. And it’s reminding me of how we need more and more guidverse series. I like this trope, along with the hunterverse, they should really make more of these. And I have seen several pop up as of late, so I’m hoping 2025 will release the floodgates for these genres.
Also on Tappytoon, “Sweetie, Sweetie, Sweetie” is back with season 3. It’s a historical transmigration story for all the isekai lovers out there. Yes, it’s fantasy. Yes, it’s romance. Yes, they wear all the fancy schmancy historical outfits. And yes, there is a grand duke.
“Into the Thrill” is back on Tappytoon for season 2. It involves the deep sexual tension between a gifted violinist and a special prosecutor. It’s a meticulous game of push and pull and is only suitable for mature audiences.
“Cozy Obsession” is also back for season 2. It’s another isekai story. It’s also an omegaverse and it involves more mature themes including confinement. Yes, it’s kinda dark but it’s also pretty hilarious and cute in some sense. It’s available on both Tappytoon and Manta.
Manta has been really gearing up. They’ve recently been adding more and more series to their collections and I’m totally all for it! S,o it’s worth downloading the app if you haven’t already.
“In the Air: Be, Be” is back for season 2. It’s a royalty omegaverse series available on Lezhin, if you haven’t read it yet. For all of the omegaverse lovers as well as the royalty lovers, this one’s for you!
“Jinx” is also back and available on Lezhin.
